Insight
Union is not a mood you work up. It is a location in history: with Christ, on the wood. What follows is almost rude to the ego — it is no longer I who live. The Christian life is not you trying harder next to Jesus. It is His life, occupying the space where you used to run the house, trusted by faith because the Son already loved you and already gave Himself up.
